Absent Without Official Leave(AWOL)

Anti-aircraft in Costa Rica,

Launching it's heat seekers,

F-18s flanking frigates from Croatia,

Hazardous chemicals stored in beakers.

Mystical iguana falling from the sky,

Flaming heli-pad below, this beast shall fry.
Though it wouldn't show in the expression he wore,

the KGB agent was full of wonder,

who will close the ajar door, 
and, who is to be prosecuted for this blunder.

King Tiger tank of Germany,

Carrying it's armaments of death,

making it's way to Normandy,

manned by soldiers who were not trained yet.

Bombing raids bringing tears,

submarines rising in the Arabian,

Duck-billed platypuses not facing their fears,

Buddhist monks turning to non-vegetarian.

Every day explosives are imported,

while the commando is trying to hide his knife,

The Roman army has not reported,

It is not they that has gone AWOL, it is life.
