My Blue GameBoy

Long before my first email was sent,
When videogames did not involve much art,
Many an hour, I had spent,
Trying to get past Mario Kart.

When the iPhone was far away,
And Windows XP was all the rage,
On my GameBoy I would constantly play,
Until we came out of that age.

The minute I got home from school,
As though I was in a trance,
Anything in my way I would outrule,
And flip open my GameBoy Advance.

Not for long, the year remained the same,
The turn of the century became old news,
New boxes were now Game,
And my Gameboy, I would often lose.

You have not just been a mentor,
But also a friend,
I love you, dear Gameboy,
And I shall until The End.

Rocket Rabbit, Backwards

His time was over,
Though Rocket Rabbit did not lose hope,
He developed a slight fever,
While trying his best to unfasten the rope,

It all began with the return of his enemy,
The man had cheated him and left him to die,
He was on a raft too far out in the sea,
The enemy had left him nothing to try.

"Come with me, out to sea, I need your help", he said,
Stories like "I have changed, have become a good man", he fed,
Into believing him, Rocket Rabbit was led,
It all started when he walked in, stories ready and his hat red.

Glass Inc.

A sudden lapse of sanity,
That led to the invention of the wheel,
Making an igloo in the rain,
So proud, this poet shall feel.

In the laboratory there is a corn flake,
The lab where there is no rainbow,
Above the shelf with the weaker acids,
The snowmen were never made of snow.

Strange band of seven colours,
With a grey wall on either side,
Above the clouds and below the grass,
By the laws of physics, one must abide.

Translucent water bottle floats on the floor,
The forgotten chair is found,
Longitudnal and Transverse waves,
Light shall collide with sound.

When the heavier nucleus falls below,
And the lighter ones do the same,
The electrons start thinking positive,
Neutrons stop enjoying the game.

Ice Cream comes in several flavours,
Up, Down, Top, Bottom, Strange and Charm,
Humans and trees being first cousins,
This Glass Inc. ends in a Glass Farm.

The Unhappy Box

iPhone, iPad,  iPod.
This one box is catastrophically unappreciated by its users and its creators, and especially those who neither used nor created them. Nobody really knows why its there, it just is(or isn't). Everyone knows that the button would have functioned perfectly fine with a  triangle or a pentagon. Its time we start appreciating this box, whether you're playing angry birds or yelling at someone over the phone.
Be The Change.
